Next race – VT Construction Silver State 300

Saturday, May 4, 2019– Race Day – Start line North of Alamo, NV

We are looking ahead to the VT Construction Silver State 300, but first we have work to do on the truck. After the Mint 400 we decided to make a couple of critical adjustments and we’re in the throes of doing that right now. According to our chief mechanic we are on schedule and will be ready for the race.

Thanks to all of our Facebook & Instagram friends for their kind words of support and we look forward to bringing you some good news regarding the upcoming race.

A look back at the mint

We now know what we didn’t know about the new truck. We’re making adjustments and look forward to the next race. We’re also looking back at the mint and accessing what can be improved upon in areas other than just the truck itself.

The Mint posed some interesting challenges, one of them being the steep, almost 90 degree edges, on many of the holes throughout the course.

Nevertheless, it was a great experience for the team and we’re looking forward to a great future!

Double Trouble at the Mint

It was a rough day for us at the 2019 “Mint 400”. We had a few problems along the way, but on lap 3 we suffered a broken rear axle. We worked hard to get back in the race, but couldn’t overcome the damaged axle which became twisted and welded together from the heat of the friction. All in all though, it gave us a great feel for which direction we need to go as far as the truck’s adjustments are concerned . Hats off to the crew for a great effort!

Trouble at Parker

About 120 miles out we ran into problems, but it felt good to get back out there and stretch the legs a little. Made some critical observations on how to improve things. Looking forward to the MINT!

Gearing up for the 2019 Parker “425”

The BSRMotorSports team is working diligently to get the 6100 ready for Parker this coming January / February of 2019. We plan to get the a arms squared away to cut back on the wheel vibration. That’s the main thing.

Where looking around for an appropriate mascot for the team and may have found one. Soon to be revealed. Nothing promotes good a good team better than a carefully selected and well heeled mascot.

Hope to see y’all in Arizona!!!

Day at the races

70 finishes first in “Trophy Class” Pahrump Nugget 250 (2018)

We started the day off right with a good breakfast and started out for the course. The BSRM team dressed for the cool temps on this festive occasion and waited at the 150 mile mark (pit 3) while the leaders went by. Nothing highly unusual during the race with the exception of the Tracy Graf and co-pilot roll. Both came out of the crash OK, thank God!

It was quite noticeable that there were many locals around and they seemed to enjoy the event. There were those who may have thought differently though, as the Voss team had trouble with 3 miles to go before the finish line.

It was much fun watching the exhausted roll in at the end and a hearty congrats to the winners of this year’s Pahrump Nugget 250.

Looking forward to “Rage at the River in Laughlin, NV.
